Delhi-Kolkata Flight Aborted Moments Before Take-Off Due to Technical Issue

A Delhi-bound flight scheduled to depart for Kolkata was abruptly aborted just moments before take-off at Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI), New Delhi, on Wednesday morning. The incident, involving an Air India flight, was attributed to a technical issue detected during the final checks.

According to sources within the airport, the pilots initiated the abort procedure as the aircraft was taxiing onto the runway for departure. Passengers on board reported a sudden halt and an announcement from the cockpit citing a technical malfunction that required immediate attention.

"There was a bit of panic initially, but the crew handled the situation calmly and professionally," said a passenger who wished to remain anonymous. "We were informed that there was a technical glitch and the engineers were assessing it."
