Infosys Founder Narayana Murthy Hails ChatGPT for Boosting Productivity

Narayana Murthy, the founder of Infosys, has praised ChatGPT for significantly enhancing his productivity. He shared that tasks like lecture preparation, which earlier took him 25–30 hours, now take only 5 hours with the help of the AI tool — marking a fivefold increase in efficiency.

Murthy was introduced to ChatGPT by his son, Rohan Murty, and now considers it an essential productivity assistant. He stressed that the key to leveraging AI effectively is giving clear, precise prompts.

Murthy believes that AI is not just a personal aid but a transformative force for the entire tech sector. Key benefits include:
