Ayodhya: Second Phase of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Consecration Begins

The second phase of the consecration ceremony at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya began today, June 3, and will conclude on June 5, coinciding with Ganga Dussehra.

This sacred phase centers on the consecration of the Ram Darbar idols — including Lord Ram, Sita, Lakshman, and Hanuman — on the first floor of the temple. Additionally, six other temples within the complex, each dedicated to various Hindu deities, are also part of the ceremonies.

  • Sacred processions (Shobha Yatras)
  • Yajnas (fire offerings)
  • Vedic chanting and devotional hymns
  • Led by dozens of experienced priests

These rituals are being performed as per ancient Vedic traditions, enhancing the spiritual atmosphere of the temple complex.

Due to the private nature of the event:

  • No public invitations have been issued.
  • Authorities have requested devotees not to visit during the ceremony.
  • Tight security arrangements have been implemented in and around Ayodhya.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is expected to attend the final day of the rituals on June 5, marking a key spiritual and cultural moment for the region.

This phase marks a significant milestone in the continued sanctification and spiritual life of the Ram Mandir, resonating deeply with millions of devotees worldwide.
